1. Natives：当地人，born there, not necessarily live there. 强调与 foreigners
不同，没必要。Peoples：人民，in different countries. 强调文化差异，没必要。Individuals：个体，强调个人，与
group 相对。 Inhabitants：正确选项。居民，live there permanently, governed by a ruling
class，常接数字：a city of 9 million inhabitants.
2. Looked 和 future 以及下文的 ideals (a perfect and unattainable situation,)
暗示 hopefully 为正确选项。
3. Ideals 暗示 unattainable or unattained，故排除 C；前文 many 和第二段第一行 less agreement
暗示 share 正确。
4. Related 没有褒义，苍白抽象，和上文 ideals 和下文的 freedom, right 不平行，故选 C。Open 的用法：The
manager is open to suggestions. 经理从善如流。
5. Right 正确，和前文 freedom 呼应。用法举例：right to education.
6. Generally 正确，与前文 many…share…呼应。通常前文举了例子(representative government,
careers, freedom of commerce and trade, right to private property…)，后面都要总结一下，如generally,

= Although，常考词，几乎每次都是正确选项，如2006年的第14题。
